About Dr. Lopez:
Dr. W. Joy Lopez, currently the Director of Information Technology & Innovation at Sacred Heart Schools in Atherton, GA, has dedicated over two decades to advancing education through innovative technology and curriculum design. She has been recognized for her leadership in online learning and educational technology, notably moving over 300 employees and 1,200 students to remote learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. Dr. Lopez is also a respected adjunct professor at the University of San Francisco, teaching courses on cybersecurity, online learning, and instructional design. She holds a Doctorate in Educational Technology from Pepperdine University, and her work in developing engaging educational programs has been acknowledged with several awards, including Norwich University’s Adjunct of the Year. Dr. Lopez continues to lead transformative initiatives, emphasizing technology's role in enhancing educational settings and ensuring digital safety and inclusion.
